AddLife
Cut flowers retain freshness and moisture using the AddLife protective coating:
AddLife is an external coating for flowers and leaves of cut plants to prevent wilt, reduce shattering, and extend shelflife. It is NOT an additive to irrigation water.
Dilute AddLife concentrate with clean water at 7:1 (or 5:1 for added protection.) Spray or dip flowers and foliage. When treating bunches, dipping gives more complete coverage. If spraying, coat leaf surfaces and undersides completely.
To insure that AddLife is diluted to the correct strength (so that the coating is not to heavy) it is best to test one sample flower before treating the group. Examine it after drying. Smooth surface and deep coloured flowers may need a more dilute coating.
AddLife is effective on all flowers and foliage, but is most beneficial on sensitive species prone to wilt, droop or shattering. (For example: Daisies; Delphinium / Larkspur; Asters; Anemones; Chrysanthemums / Pompoms; Dahlias; Gerbera; and all wilt sensitive foliage.)
AddLife delays bud opening 24 to 48 hours on most flowers. Roses and other flowers treated with tight buds may not be able to open. For best results on Roses, apply AddLife after the buds have partially opened.
AddLife may be applied before cold storage, after design work, or before delivery. Use AddLife in addition to all other flower care techniques.
Florist Tips

- Tulips beginning to flare? Spray-on AddLife and reshape.
- Necks bending? Spray-on AddLife and hang inverted to dry.
- In a rush? Treat Gerbera rather than wiring before cooling.
- Wilt sensitive foliage? Remains fresh when treated.
- Severe heat or drying winds? AddLife lessens their effect.
