How Does AntiStress reduce chemical use?

Most foliar fertilizers and fumigation chemicals are lost to rain and wind. Because the AntiStress membrane lasts for up to 45 days, it prevents these treatments from being lost - keeping the chemicals available to the plant for a longer time. For this reason producers can decrease their use of foliar fertilizers and fumigation chemicals about 25 percent. After application of fertilizers and fumigation chemicals has been allowed to dry, the plants should be sprayed with AntiStress. This allows the membrane to form, holding in nutrients and chemicals on the leaf.

What kind of yield increase can I expect?

Users report increased yields from 15 percent to 70 percent above non-treated controls in all crops. Specific results depend on conditions, but a 25 percent increase is typical. (The percentages will be higher in a really bad year, because the production of the non-treated plants goes even lower. In enviroments with a perfect climate, temperature, and water, the advantage is smaller.) AntiStress allows plants to put energy into growth and production, rather than struggling to stay alive.

Is it safe?

The solution is a non-toxic, biodegradable, water-based concentrate intended for use as a plant protectant. All ingredients used in these products are approved for food contact by the EPA and FDA. While the compound is tasteless, odorless, colorless, and composed of premium-grade ingredients, it is not registered as a food component. Therefore, growers are asked to wait three weeks after treatment to harvest fruit, or that the fruit be washed in processing.
