NEW POLYMER TECHNOLOGY:
AntiStress products are concentrated non-toxic water-based foliar protectants which cover the leaf surface and form a gas-permeable membrane. The products are made by suspending complex acrylic polymers in water. After the correct dilution, the suspension is sprayed directly on all exposed plant surfaces, where the polymers bond in a repeating molecular pattern to form a protective membrane. This membrane remains flexible and elastic, greatly reducing water loss while shielding the plant from environmental extremes. The result is a colourless, odourless, gas-permeable barrier which improves plant health, efficiency, and yield. AntiStress use does not change the nature of plants, but keeps them healthier and better able to perform at their best. The plants use energy to grow and produce, rather than to fight stress. The results have been stunning. SAFE & EFFECTIVE: The AntiStress product line includes several formulations meant for diverse uses; from preserving dried plants, to keeping cut flowers fresh, to protecting trees, shrubs, and crops. All AntiStress products are 100% non-toxic and biodegradable. All ingredients used in these products are approved for food contact by the U.S. government's EPA & FDA. AntiStress is formulated using only the highest quality premium-grade polymers and additives. There is absolutely no danger to plants, pets, people, or the environment. In fact, many users of AntiStress products are able to reduce their use of other agricultural chemicals, which further helps to conserve energy and the environment. EASY TO USE: AntiStress products are simply diluted with water and applied to plants using conventional agricultural spraying equipment. For maximum efficacy, complete plant coverage is desired. It is important that the underside of the leaf receives good coverage, as this is the site of most water loss. Dilution rates and methods of application depend on climate and plant species. Please see the AntiStress Users' Manual for specific instructions. Various suggestions which some growers find successful: To combat heat, drought, and drying winds: Dilute @ 100:1. While the underside of the leaves is the most important surface, for maximum efficacy complete plant coverage is desired. The membrane is photdegradable, so the process should be repeated within 30-45 days depending on environment. To protect against freeze damage: Dilute @ 50:1. Each species of plant will freeze at a different temperature. Treatment will give an additional 4° F, 6°F, or sometimes 10°F below the normal freezing point. Complete coverage of the damage prone areas (buds, flowers, fruit, stems, leaves) is important. Apply as close before frost/freeze time as possible. To enhance fruit quality and appearance: Dilute @ 100:1. Apply every 30 days from fruit set. To confound sucking insects or other pests: Dilute @ 50:1. Apply every 30-45 days. Because the leaf and fruit surfaces are covered by the membrane, insects and pests may not recognise it as food. Fungi and mildew are also inhibited because spores will not grow on the membrane, nor can fungi already on the plant easily release their spores or expand. To repel chewing insects and animals: Use AntiStress with PepperGuard @ 50:1 dilution. PepperGuard is a new product which delivers all of the benefits of the AntiStress membrane plus a very strong capsicum extract made from HOT peppers, making treated plants almost universally repellent to pests; everything from aphids to deer. Allow 30 days for membrane degradation or wash edible fruit thoroughly; especially if PepperGuard is used. To reduce the use of other chemicals: Use AntiStress after application of foliar fertilisers and fumigation chemicals. Because the AntiStress membrane lasts 30-45 days, it prevents these treatments from being lost to wind and rain; thus keeping the chemicals available to the plant for a longer time. By using AntiStress, many producers can decrease their use of foliar fertilisers and fumigation chemicals by approximately 25%. |
